Students publish local newspapers as part of the PACERS Community Newspaper Project (PCNP). The project improves students’ academic interest, writing skills and scores, computer competence, and post-secondary study and career options. It offers young people occasions to serve their communities by providing professional quality local media. To find out more on the PCNP contact admin@pacersinc.org. Opportunities are available for small rural schools to join the project, and volunteers and contributions are needed.
