PACERS Goes International—Again

Children in Scotland, Scotland’s primary advocacy program for children and young people, invited Jack Shelton to speak at its Annual Conference in November and to lead a day-long seminar on PACERS for teachers, administrators, youth workers, elected officials, and representatives of youth support organizations.

As is usually the case, response was very positive to the approaches and programs of PACERS—both from participants and media representatives. There is a strong prospect that there will be follow-up connections with PACERS.

Once again small rural Alabama schools have demonstrated their capacity to imagine and implement programs that make a difference to kids and communities.
